Universal cement casing head

Cement headsare designed for a wellhead connection of the oil, gas and expendable wells are designed for the purpose of:

– make-and-break and pressure-tight coupling of the casing string with discharge lines of cementing units or mud pumps;
– pre-placement, fixing and later release of the bottom plugs and controls for the stage and collar cementing;
– quick and smooth dropping of the opening bombs into the string, controlling the workflow of spacer, drilling and grouting fluids with respect to the cement plugs and control elements.

Universal cementing heads, which in many respects superior to the best foreign samples, are reduced in the vertical clearance. Advantageous location of side outlets and bracket for pressure gauge makes it possible to cement columns in a suspended position on block-and-tackle system, or while reciprocating.

Design features of our heads have following advantages:
– reliable equalization of pressure in the cavities of the body above and below the cement plug;
– a stripper, which makes it easier to remove the head cover at a pressure below atmospheric inside the column;
– washing of the cement discharge lines without disconnecting them from the head.

HCU head type are equipped with five connecting outlets using two or three cement plugs of conventional size fixed with devil’s claws.

The plant accepts special orders and produces equipment due to the technical requirements of consumers on the basis of universal units and detail parts, such as:
heads with screw stoppers and side restrainer with a check box;
heads for two plugs;
heads with a lateral manifold, etc.
The experience gained over the last few years revealed reserves of increasing the strength of the heads by 25-30%. Plant implements these features at the request of consumers.
